thats what i thought too, being able to see the enemies sense of fashion gives the game a sense of character, in my hours of playing the game after the change its been quite boring killing my enemies now that it doesnt feel like im killing an individual with a unique choice of colors and armor combinations to show off an art of character transmoging, its more of i killed someone that is in a set of armor that many other hundreds of people have and are wearing.
i still believe that it would be better for people to have an option to toggle on/off alternate appearance to show on the enemy side.

LMFAO! exactly! just some idiots who assumes people with low tier looking armor means they suck and not that the those people probably likes the look of the armor. everyone's creativity is being put behind curtains because someone thought they could get some easy kills assuming that the player they are about to kill is just undergeared.

Love it ! Also dig Kek - I never saw him before I have to watch him.
I am also one of those players. I hate how over the top some endgame armor looks.
My Slayer runs a minimalistic T1 look. My Knight some mid 20 armor appearance and looks like a normal infantry man.
Most of my 13 40s run at least partially some low level gear appearance.
My intend was never to hide my gear level - but just to like what I see.
And I never evaluate my opponent because of the look - I just need the nametag for that.

The only thing bother me is the Engi Dominator Helm...i farm to have this because it's like the T1 dwarf liar boss drop....I love soooo much.
Now i have something horrible...and no...i dont pay near 200g for this helmet,too expensive and I don't have that money

Even with my heavily altered toons I always keep at least one visible gear piece up to my rank (helm, shoulders, back piece, you get the picture) to give away my true level.

Maybe to give voice to a portion of the playing population that thinks you guys are getting up in arms over an unbelievably minor change that gives zero impact to your gaming experience for the sake of game stability improvements? I dunno....
