Both Concussions are random chance as well as the bow auto attack on that same timestamp.

BW is rdps, SH BS specced is rdps...I wouldn't say they are "vastly different archetypes".
SW's do it better.

mechanic build up + pre debuff + 5sec window cleansing counter
vs
2sec casting

my sov fort weapons scout SW do almost same as vanq SH subj bow.
don't have full data but performance lvl feels like same.

burst part is little bit much. put it on assist situation.
SM8, SW8, AM8, WL7, KoBS5, BW5, WP8, WH7, IB7, Eng5, RP5, SL6
BG8, Sorc8, DoK8, WE7, Chs8, Mg8, Ze7, Mara8, BO6, SH7, Shm5, Chop4

ok here's data.
tested SH first. then SW. kinda shocked. difference was not much.
so tested 30m on SW to cherrypick best result.

then tested SH again to cherrypick best result too.

after only 3 attempt. pretty sure i would get better result if tested more.

SH
full vanq + full gene + 2 suibj. 909 BS, 285 WS, 28% crit. 15pt BS
SW
full sov + 3 gene + 2 fort. 948 BS, 299 WS 30% crit, 15pt scout

no potion, 160BS tactic + resist ignore + 1s cast reduce + 4th empty
i'll skip the rotations. VoN, glass arrow and gas pet Squig Frenzy were used.

dps stats are almost same. SW sov is not yet finished in tali.
SH can go higher with sov and fort weapons.

SW were out of AP b4 kill. little bit harder to manage rotation.
and 3stacks dot can be cleansed.

SH have pet problem but it doesn't excuse every burst SH gets.
it's also a bonus dmg and utility.

it maybe just dummy test. but halve it for guard, add it with other dps for assist.
you can predict grp play. sorta.

ps. tested in 280 ping

Two skill of BW do more dmg.
BW and Sorc timestamp builds take a longer windup, are cleansable, are glass cannons and have little utility. There is an actual risk/reward trade with them.
