Good combo with AM

Hi everybody,
my brother and i came back to RoR after years.
he wants to play an archmage and I'm looking for a good complement to it.
we mainly want to play scenario and open RvR.
i would be happy if someone can help find the right class.

I would say Shadow warrior, but not sure if it's still good after last rework.
Brightwizzard is also a good pick, but go for the range knockdown in middle tree.
The Archmage should be dps with mistress of March specced. You will be a kite duo which works good in open RvR and OK in scenarios.

Two dps AMs is a strong combo if you plan to only duo most of the time.

without a doubt SM
sm can debuff enemy spirit resist by 300 increasing both of your damage can give guard and even "off heal"
am can handle ranged dps/healing while slowing and draining targets ap giving the sm an easier time
those 2 classes work so well together its nuts

All depends on whether you are healing or DPS?
If DPS for open world RVR 2 DPS AM is very strong, people wont like you in scenarios though, so probably better off with AM + SM

A second AM. The most frustrating experience to fight against is 2 solid DPS AM's.
