I have to agree with Detangler. If even L2P is having an easy time in cities, something must be seriously wrong.

Almost nobody would care about city win/loss rate if end-game rewards weren't tied to it. The problem is the content and the reward structure, not the classes.

It is just lazy to blame the players. The devs decided they wanted to force everyone to play a certain way without fixing all the things that needed to be fixed to play that way.

I wonder how you will back up this bold claim.

Engies problems are easily killed static pet, aoe dots that can be cleansed by dok aoe cleanse and single target that goes against the resist that everyone stacks.

What person stacks a single resist over others? Jewelry and capes all have very similar resist numbers x3. Chosen/knight resist aura, shaman/AM group buff, and zealot/RP individual buff all give resists x3. No one uses resist talismans, especially with how easy it is to hit and go over the 40% resist soft cap.

Sorry, but this is just a terrible argument.
Detangler and alts - 84 Chosen, other 40s - DoK, Zealot, SH, WE, BG, BO
Destro - Mostly Harmless
Tangler and alts - 8X IB, other 40s - RP, SM
Order - Most dishonorable

why add guards to spawn but not do something about being pulled in? you can kill the enemies champs by rifting them into the barrier

Lorsten wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:17 pm How can anyone blame the gear difference system in this game? Its the most friendly system of gearing in the mmos world, lol.
No, not really, that award goes to GW2
Lorsten wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:17 pm It literraly takes 2 weeks of participating in oRVR to get full vanq set+subj weapon, which is very competitive for almost all classes.

There is a big gap between gear that is viable and gear that is BiS. Maybe it´s too long time ago you were in those shoes.
Lorsten wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:17 pmU can get conq in 1-2 days and feel good in oRvR

This is basically a lie, or maybe you understand it better that way -> This made me cringe hard. You do not feel good in conq, i have been there not so long ago.
Lorsten wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:17 pm The advantage players have with gear upgrades is so low in this game, compared to others, where u can get BiS trinket or legendary pve weapon (comparing to WoW again) and your dps goes to the sky...
There is only few specific classes, who is very gear-dependent (dd DoKs for example).

So you excuse how it is here with how horrible it is in wow ? That makes zero sense.

Lorsten wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:17 pm About RR, you really dont need to be 80RR to be solid, the difference between 70 and 80 is not dramatic, again compared to other games (imagine player who spent twice more time playing this game only gets something like +3% crit, or 40 int, or 5%crit reduction).
Affter 70RR+Vanq level gear you get very little upgrades in terms of character power.

Yeah of course, +2 mastery points on souv totally minor upgrade
