Solo ranked also really comes down to the russian-roulette style matchmaking because the lack of active participants means the ELO rating can't stretch out to match good players with good players and baddies with baddies. So you always have a good chance at losing a match due to ragequitters, conq dps or people who are absolutely oblivious to what's going on.

This would improve with more people actually playing ranked, but thus far it's pretty stale.

6v6 pre-made ranked on the other hand has a huge Order advantage due to gap-closer burst classes like aSW and WL or hell, even double Slayer which Destro can't really match.

Yes, skill matters in 6v6, but that's in premade 6v6, solo ranked is a joke, you can't affect the skill of the after mentioned bw since it's a pug scenario, otherwise if you were running a bw in 6v6 (lol) you'd at least get him to go st, or tell the choppa to go 2h, or tell people not to use insta ress and other nonsense.

Sure aoe bw is nonsense in 6v6 but so is st bw in wb vs wb scale. You will alwas have some guys queing in subotimal speccs, but after a few matches they usually get it, that they are the ones who made their team loose and either respec or quit the gamemode. And yes picking the right gear, mastery and renown is also some kind of skill. So 6v6 solo ist still the best skill competition after premade 6v6 you can get here.

About the second part: Do your homework before you post stuff about what's a joke in 6v6 and what not. There have been multiple 6v6 matches over the last year including BWs. Few Examples:

The first video is a 15min long fight where a 2hbg a snb bg LOL a we and dps dok were hitting on a the SM and only at the 8min did they decide to attack the squishy bw freecasting in the back, and the moment they did, he died.
About the second idk, the BW wasn't really focused at all, buff rsh I guess. I'm no pro so there must be a reason why both the tanks used champions challenge on different targets so far from eachother with no assist by the dps, so I give you that one, was a strange video to watch, that 2h bg might as well have been snb lol.
Third one was literally just a boring range spam and ended up with destro turtling on the flag, why would someone post these videos as "tryhard 6v6" unless this was meant as a joke. And also once again useless snb tanks in ranked.
I've seen that last video recently and already someone answered that these in fact are premade 6v6 and not solo ranked which is even more confusing.

So the point of these videos is, if you focus the bw he dies? Yeah I agree that a wot rules choppa is hard to keep up, but it's more useful than a gtdc spamming aoe choppa in a 6v6.
