Scavenging mat drop rate

Was the drop rate for blue and purple mats nerfed? I’ve yet to receive a single purple mat since I’ve returned and blues are extremely rare,
All the r40 champions have also been removed.
What happened? Was scavenging too OPed?

Think common tactic is to farm Gunbad champs now.

For serious return on time invested, farming Ch.22 PQs and Gunbad are the money farms.

Otherwise you can farm PQs in ch.21 or rank 38-40 mobs in Ch.22 area or maybe an easy ch.22 pq. But that is 100% luck of the draw on getting good frags. Is nice to make 300g off the odd level 40 mob dropping a purple armor frag.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

Dungeons. For salvaging as well if you want to salvage any gear above conq level. These are your best options for blue and purple.

Personally I farm elf ch22. Hate dungeons! :)

Don’t you need a full group for that?

Yes you will need a grp to farm mobs and usually the rest of the grp will be interested in running the dungeon or completing the PQ but there are other dedicated mat farmers out there haha.

There are no Barriers anymore... a good spot in Gunbad are the gravestones in right wing, so you can skip everything...
if you are silly, you can clean up your business or such and all 3 minuts or so you click/attack the greavestones from range. after 20 minuts you got 30 champ's on each gravestone :P (they only attack when you are to close or attack them.

So it just takes 1 tank, 1 dps, 1 heal... i prefer doing it on dps zealot with a tank :)
