Re: Warfront needs to be pug scenario.
you do realize that duo can queue pug SC?
It'll be duo spam and basically same story for solo pugs.
get a group.
it'll take less than 10 rounds to complete.
just lower your tolerance lvl little bit.
It's not guaranteed win but have fighting chance.
from fighting, you can learn how to scrap as small rewards as possible, avoiding total annihilation.

Re: Warfront needs to be pug scenario.
You want to say that getting a total of 100 kills, 5+ sc played and owning the objective once for the match duration e.g. win first engagement and then the match, is impossible for pugs, then I have no words.
You can't make it much easier without giving the event rewards for just logging in.
And for the record, you need no premade at all for such easy tasks.
Dying is no option.

Re: Warfront needs to be pug scenario.
And what has queueing solo to do with "being terrible" and "not making any effort"? Besides, that it takes little effort to get to the crafting level during the event anyways, but that´s the same for solo´s and for premades. In general, for pug´s it takes a lot more effort in scenarios to try to get something done than for premades.
One event for pug´s a month, let´s say as a catch-up mechanic would not hurt anybody, except maybe the precious feelings of those awesome premades who make soooo much effort stomping pug´s every weekend .

Idk understand this mentality that you have to ‘put more effort in to PuG’ schtick people try to push because if you ask same people who say this why they don’t just make a premade they say ‘it’s too much work to get a group’? So which is it, do you PuG to put more effort into your games or do you pug because you can’t put in the effort to form a group? Sure seems like all the pug-advocates want to have their cake and eat it too but are lacking either the skills to carry as a pug or the social ability to form a group (or maybe they’re also too bad at the game to have other players want to play with them).

Well, I did not write that they had anything to do with it eachother. I responded to a previous poster which claimed that the "premade bias was unpardonable". This statement is just wrong as pretty much no rewards in this game (beside pve) requires you to win. You can zergsurf while being semi afk for all orvr rewards. You can be semiafk leeching and would probably complete these quick live events in max 15 scenarios.Draugris wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 6:04 am

Regarding your second paragraph, it seems reasonable to have 1 pug weekend warfront a month as the pug scenario is roughly 1 out of 5-6 scenarios. It is not reasonable, however, to demand, as op does, to have all weekend warfronts be pug scenario.

OK, I guess you can get 24 random people who have been playing with different people all the time (and thus keep improving) and crush a TUP warband since they are stagnating because they always play with the same people?drmordread wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 12:22 am
Because the majority of the players on this server, and back on live, play PuG. Sorry (not soory) playing with the same 5 people day in day out is boring AF and really does nothing to further your playing skills, due to always knowing you can rely on heals, buffs, guard, from a premade group. When you play with the same people, your play style and skill level stop growing beyond the envelope. They stagnate.
But this is not about 6 man premades ...
Don't make me laugh. People improve by putting in effort to actually learn and improve. Anyone just playing without a goal, be they pug or premade, will stagnate. In fact, having a fixed set of people to practice with improves the rate at which you can get better, as you can focus more on your own performance instead of having to compensate for others not pulling their weight.
