And were still playing with the mount bug. Did the devs just say screw it let them play on horses were going to bed?
Or maybe, the patch was release during the time that would cause minimal effect to those online, and a few of the team were sleeping. This post came up at 5:45AM for me, which by your comment, would mean the patch released at 2:45AM.
The team are volunteers, people sleep. A fix has been pushed to live.
