Y see, Wachlarz its simply. Your Magus just only need defensive build, defensive sets, positiong, guard and PREHEALING (!) and BW is not problem.
And normal BW need 1,5 sec , a dark, painfull, almost eternal seconds to kills You.
Everything is ok!

One semi-related question: Festerbomb used to have similar results, perhaps even with smaller burst, and it got nerfed to hell. Why? What made the devs decide that there is no place for Festerbombs in the game, but they are ok with Sorc/BW bombing? Is it just because SWs are more durable and have no backlash?

Festerbombs had a single skill critting for 4k+ (with the aid of a few others). Sorc/BW single target rotations are 5+ skills timed to hit together for maximum burst, relying on all to crit for max damage.

btw magus can do same burst (maybee beter) with Havoc spec

So everything is okay? I am the worst player on the server. I have the worst equipment. Zero concept about the game. Fight against the best-dressed character on the server. With the greatest knowledge and skills. And the fight lasts 1.5 sec. People sneeze longer.

The fight didn't last 1.5 seconds. It was just timed to hit you in a short span of time. The BW spent 3 seconds casting Fireball, then 1 second casting Sear before finally using Nova. He likely cast Ignite and maybe Boiling Blood before all of that. That's 5+ seconds where he is standing still focusing only on you. That's 5+ seconds for you to notice him, detaunt, or move out of sight.

It's a bit like standing on the train tracks, seeing the train coming towards you, and then when you get hit complain that it was all over in a split second, completely disregarding the time you had to just step aside.

Not when you are including melee/ranged/magical power mods (not to mention a possible toughness debuffs).

Sure but you wont be sble to do this without compromising too much on your ither stats if you arent a tank

With my baby Magus I invested all in to disrubt/dodge and anti crit first. Try to stay out of range or keep those who focus on You under detaunt (especialy BW who can do this)
