How to earn renown in scenarios?

Can someone explain how renown is earned in scenarios?

Guessing DPS, killing blows, healing..but if someone could fully explain it, I would appreciate that:-)

so my 2 question. Are tanks at a disadvantage then, since they dont do as much damage as the dps, nor the healing as healers?

Iirc heals and mitigated damage counts for healers and tanks (vaguely remembering from patchnotes once upon a time), but most of the time they leech off the damage and killing done by the dps in the party. No kills/dmg, low renown. Also doing objectives and winning contributes.

It depends on the type of scenario. Some kill-based scenarios use the same renown gain as rvr (with maybe some bonuses near objectives) where you get it per kill. Other objective-based SCs (like Nordenwatch and Serpent's Passage) do not grant renown per kill, but give out renown at the end based on score and 'estimated kills'.
