Warrior Priest is great fun PvE, and apparently RvR (I don't use it for RvR).

Knight, Swordmaster, Slayer, White Lion, Bright Wizard, Warrior Priest or Rune Priest.
Do yourself a favour and pick one of these. If you pick the others know they are quite a bit behind in balance.

If you're new and interested in ranged dps I'd suggest Bright Wizard or Sorc. The rotation is straightforward with some variation for to spice up the gameplay. It's simple to pick up and more importantly they have the most powerful mechanic of any dps.
Engi/Magus have to position correctly which is frustrating. SW and Squig have to stance dance which is frustrating.
As Saupresse suggested dps AM and Shaman can be very fun if you're the solo type.

Melee squig herder and Choppa with get to the chop spam. Both classe will own pvp all the time. Why? Because they are so stupid unbalanced and with enormous CC that will break any defense line. If you want easy game, pic one of these OP classes.

This mindset is so f*ing cancerous and ruins the game. What if you enjoy the mechanic of a class and find it fun to play at all levels?
Outside of larger, organised clans, is this the state of the game?

Ofc not you play whatever you enjoy, except organised warbands will not take you in for the end game gearing so it will take you too long and new players should have the right to know about this on forums

Play what you want. I saw organised WB running in cities with more WH then WL (for example NGE).

Play melee, they are best for meta PVP. Except for Witch Hunter, it is garbage.

This man is absolutely correct about the state of play on Order right now.
