Summer time has nothing to do with population drop lol.
Its been dropping since months ago now.
Sad but true.
EU prime time max 240 people in T4 and thats not just last 2 months.

Of course not but still a problem. The reduced number is noticeable in a negative way. Scenario pop very slow. Facing the same players in scenarios over and over again.
As the playerbase and not the lines of code is the real value of this project I would at least spend some thoughts in root cause analysis.

Personally, I don't play as much cos I got a lot less free time at my hands, which I spend with other stuff too.
And when I'm logged on I'm havin a hard time findin decent groups to run with, due to this low population, so I just log off again. Bit of a vicious circle here, plus this medal grind doesn't really help.

I dunno what's in the pipelines, especially regarding gear prices etc., but somethin needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Also, this game is around for like 10 years, people just move on I guess.

And yes, it's summer time after all, which means everyone with a tad bit of a social life left is prolly chillin at the pool with a cold beer rather than killin pixels.

Well. You are surprised about low pop :).

I'm personally very surprised since years there are so much players on a "so early" work in progress. But i'm always glad to see that players success to forget this is still a project :).

Let be honnest, if we should give an estimation of what have been done, let say we haven't done the half of the way to have something really acceptable (fix, content, stuff, balance....) :).

Saupreusse was telling me last time RoR was a baby. He is completely right.

So many things deployed these last 4 years (4 Years !!!), but everything has to be done, refined, enhanced. We havent the force of a WoW community to develop this emulator faster (more or less 10-20 ppl on RoR vs 10000+ on WoWemu community).

Actually, things seems to accelerate on dev side on many subjects and have good hopes for some major improvments before the end of the year.

Implementing content that breaks up the playerbase which already is, as Yaliskah stated, very low to begin with does not help either.
