Imo it was not, and in current case it would be giving players possibility to get best set, in respective time spent ofc, that fits for their gameplay. For example atm most of healer and tank classes have their dps set obtainable by scs only and most dps classes have their dps set obtainable by oRvR only. If someone would like to keep his favourite playstyle and get BiS set its forced to one or another activity anyway. I cant understand how giving player choice what he want to do to gear himself is mistake/bad thing.
Dont get me wrong: im not talking even about speeding up gearing process, i would just like to feel that spending time on my favour activities in this game is somehow rewarding in process of gearing, and atm often its not.

I agree and I also want to know, why the freedom of choice on how to obtain gear (whether dps/tank/heal set) should be a mistake?

Yeah, I like SCs more on my Welf, can easily do scs to earn 50-100 emblems a day. Problem is, my BiS comes from orvr, where I might earn 10-20 a day, sometimes more, often less. EU T4 evening zergs don't provide the greatest chance for good medallion earning.
And I simply enjoy SCs, whereas orvr, especially keep fights, are somewhat demotivating from time to time. (I don't want them to become easy, but in massive zerg fights at keep my Welf just doesn't really get to do a lot)

Dominator would be easy to earn, SCs are enjoyable.
Conqueror would be best gear, and hard to earn and requires intensive month long grinding of zergy zones.

Feeling somewhat "burnt out" currently, deciding try to rolling a choppa. :)

Why dps can earn gear faster than healer ? i mean real healer gear not dps .
ofc emblems easy get just repeat sc.

Hmm played three days orvr now after i get my domination Set parts that i need. I made 270 Medaillons and Rolled conq shoulder. So i get 560 Medaillons in about 10 hours play time. Thats okay

It is possible, and we're not interested in repeating a mistake. Scenarios are a mini-game, they're not tied to the core game. We don't want scen only players to be starved for gear, so they can earn their own stuff. Be happy for that, it could be worse.

yes you are right ,best option just quit this kinky system and wait when devs find system or bring live system which are useful for everyone.

....not everyone can do kills from 100-150 feet away, nor is capable of doing ranged last hits from distance.
Try playing melee dps in a warband during primetime. Even if your WB scores 200-500 kills during several hours of fighting, there will be ranged dps following, taking last hits, and the remaining successful conq medal drops will be divided between two parties and inside that party between 6 people.
And grats on your Conq shoulder, last bag of mine was bugged and had no gear.

Even if I go solomode, gank people during offhours, I might get just 10 medals per hour, as not all players drop them and getting the list hit can be surprisingly hard... out of nowhere a ranged dps you didn't even see before somehow arrives to the scene at last second and "saves" me. :roll:

sry but if u rly just want to FARM sets make a duo wreck pugs everybody can do this
