Idea: Gift Boxes

I was thinking about how this game could be made more enjoyable and fun.

I really like the live event with the gift boxes - I think it is during christmas time - where these boxes just drop by killing players with a lot of nice stuff inside.

Wouldn't it be a great idea to add such gift boxes permanently to the game and let them drop with a low chance from player kills or when returning boxes?

They could contain small rewards from a few golds or crests or potions/liniments/dyes or renown boosts to bigger ones with more gold and crests to epic ones with mounts and other special items.

Getting always the same 1 crest for returning a box feels so boring. There is no fun component attached that you might get a gift box for it. Same with killing players.

Id really love to see that added to the game. Other games did it as well, like Diablo with the gold goblins appearing from time to time with lots of drops. It generates "wow" moments that are good for the fun.

In general I think there should be more random drops of high quality (both appearence and regular items). Preferably bop (could use a token system to avoid getting useless stuff) to ecourage people to play after 80.
