Channeling break

My channeling always breaking when target trying reduce range with me to 0 and move to sides, very anoying shiet. Or it work as intended ?

It's been that way for a long time now, long enough I can only assume it's working as intended.

Melee channels mostly. They made a change to how abilities work, their cone of affect, you know the patch that stopped SWs from shooting directly behind them? Same patch changed the cone of affect for channeled abilities to make it so you have to be facing your target for it to work but it completely broke channels for a long time, eventually they sorta fixed it but still to this day if you get too close the game thinks your broke the area of affect and stops the channel, really bad if you are in a high ping location. The best way to give your channel a chance is to start backing up as it seems to keep it within its cone of affect, not perfect but works slightly better.
