I dont think its hard to see that abilities fire before the load time is up, or maybe that is the que? But one of the reasons why some/lots of people thought Nerfed Buttons lets you bypass the GcD is because you couldnt spam abilities in Aor or the GcD would be capped to 1.5s IF you pressed it too early ie before 1.15s.
Nerfed Buttons allowed you to spam but nothing registerd if you had your settings to only fire at 1.15s. This allowed you to Spam and still get the benefits of 1.15s gcd, faster dmg but no AP regen. I never used Nerfed Buttons myself but my friend showed this to me back in early 2009 or so and he thought that was allowing him to bypass some of the GcD but we realized you can do it without NB but obviously its alot harder because you only have the one shot to fire ability early or it is blocked.
That was the reason i kind of was against NB and conditionals like only use certain abilities if behind target(like AW/Torment so it was too easy to get flanking tactic benefits with 100% armour ignore as well)
Im pulling this from memory and if there is some old NB users here who actually truely knows this pls correct me if im wrong and explain it in some way=)
Im not claiming Aza to be always correct and yes there was alot quess work early when working this project. But this 1.15s gcd thing is not only from Azarael its from alot of old players using NB or not and me actually seeing this being used, but memory is not the most reliable source and i am open to being wrong about this, i still think 1.15s GcD was alot better than 1.5s.

i think reason about gcd was nb worked with it. after gcd change nb didnt work (its anyway disabled addon make ppl play too good) i would decrease ap regen , atm its too much ap regen overall. (u die faster vs zerg than u run out of ap)

If they reverted lots of the nerfs to damage dealers and added back like more crit rr skills it wouldnt be so glaring. The game is very defensively skewed towards healer tank set ups in anything below warband level

this is the only point that is objectively very bad on this server no matter how you look at it
some changes buff one class, nerf another, mak better one thing, make worse another one and this is ok
but GCD changes just made the game slow, less statisfying without adding anything, the worst thing they did on this server
