I mean the counter to WL isn't ranged cos that is what WL is good at.

A mara will outbrawl a WL in melee.

I wish players would educate themselves before they talk about this subject, in terms of 1vs1 WL is nothing special. The best solo roam classes are destros + AM.

A bit old but still a lot of this applies.

For my part, have toons in 80+ on both side including a wl.

I see the main issue making the WL better than is should be is the leap and 360 spin.
If the spin channel were a cone instead of 360 it would change how the class performs and played, that is some choices are needed and noticeable drop in its face roll play style.

My belief would be this simple change would bring it inline with the rest of the classes and probably help the slayers (might still need a very small slayer buff, they are small so only a small buff is appropriate)

Need to get rid of the heal debuff on the fort weapon. It's free 25% HD for practically everyone it hits.

Unfortunately, people can't be honest with themselves. Hardly any WL player will admit how strong this class is... Now we just have to wait for someone from the Staff to admit that WL needs to be reworked or spend time and energy buffing all the other DPS on both sides.

remmeber how in forum yelled rampage is op, nerf slayers. and all this. rampage get supernerfhammered and noone play slayers byt started wl.
p.s slayers are less played even order has 55%vs 45% destro online and still choppas are more than slayers .

Also may say that after rSH buffed a few years ago, some geared rSH 80rr+ from distance may beat WL or at least 50 on 50. While I was playing for WL, there were 2-3 such cases with me 1v1, Finish'em Off 2k crit damage.

A few years ago.
But rsh been nerfed to the ground 3 years ago and I stopped playing mine. Next toon.
