You gotta play better than that. What SW lacks in Melee AoE it makes up for it in quite possibly some of the most dangerous single target melee burst and debuffs in the game. You need to get with the right crowd. Shadow Warrior is a class that requires quite a bit of skill, just like most other classes and a core understanding of the enemy side.

Are you in T4 scenarios or T2/T3?

Always thought it's cause smaller range for kiting and casting while walking and more range for more static playstyle. Of course kiting with a 100feet range would be awesome (with squggi).

SW armor pen tactic works ONLY on shots (ie. spiraling arrows) and NOT on dot component.

3x arrow can be cleansed in a single cleanse... it's not very effective in city. Meanwhile melee SH continue to top the dmg chart in city... so...

The rework was mainly to what I presume to give SW an AOE option because everyone was going crazy for the AOE meta in cities but in doing so, all it has accomplished is destroying skirmisher path its role for kiting groups in ORVR with its on demand HD, ranged KD and decent assist damage. What SW got in return was to be forced to move to 65 feet if you want to apply a HD which is often just suicide if you run a kiting group trying to stay at max range as much as possible while kiting big groups and a subpar AOE spec which is hardly used due to the fact Slayer and BW AOE perfom way better. So all in all is just mostly negative changes to the class and its playstyle as a kiting class.

Its previously role in kiting groups as skirmisher was fine and honestly way more fun than what it is now. I think many SW players would want this playstyle back. Sure, it did needed some tuning but as many experienced SW players said, some minor tweaks was all it needed.
So while I do appreciate the effort that went into the rework, I sadly think they were not made by an active SW player.

The most important in SW was that heal debuf fot 100ft. And AOE in 100ft, now its 65 . squige still haveboth at 100
The classes are not designed to be identical or even close mirrors. If that was the case, then you might want to give SH ranged 100 foot KD.

Sure. At the begining Sw had 65ft and sh 100 ft wit tactic. Devs fixed it by giving them equal range. They mustnt be mirrors. But they MUST have equal range. Like BW and sorc or Engi/magus, shaman/AM etc...
Now its like if sorc had halph ot their skills on 65% range from BW's skills.

Without Shootin' wif da wind tactic (11 into quick shooting tree) rSH range for quick shootin' skills is also 65ft.
Hell, even engie and magus have range tactic in their aoe tree without which their aoe range is also.. 65-80 ft.

People WANTED this. And they got what they campaigned for.

Uh, no one wanted this. Most SW mains were and still are very displeased with the changes. Only two positives came out of the reworks with a lot of nerfs and downsides. The changes are definitely the worst that the devs have made to a class on the server and any other class asking for changes should be scared they get this treatment.

I agree with you that what has been done to SWs is a travesty and diminished my enthusiasm for rSH buffs down to "don't even look at this class" level.
But when the changes to SWs were discussed there was a strong lobbying for "moar aoe, moar dps, moar city close quarters". And the result is... sad.
I've shelved my SW and it became a mule for other chars.
