Typical mid size to large scale fight opening. Both sides run in and some idiot SM AOE punts for no reason or good at all, giving the entire Destro train punt immunity.
Another thing i see a lot is Destro is caught in a clump being AOE down. its looking bad for their train, until some typical SM charges in to save them and AOE punt them all to safety....
Mid fight running around things are chaotic, train or clusters and OMG AOE PUNT CAME UP.... free immunity again.
If you cant control your self and learn when to use it do order a favor and remove it from your bar. you are doing far more harm than help.

Well,destro has the same problem with BO aoe punts so...what can you do?
Some people just want to save the group they are in. Most are just crap players (that play this game in FPS view?) and can’t understand what is happening around them.

Same thing goes for every tank who has punted a 10% hp BW or WP away from me at the last second since 2008.

It's just new people being new. They'll realize eventually that aoe KB has its use but that isn't often. Still have tanks learning how to guard and challenge but theyll get there.

These two skills are designed to allow the inner spy / conspirator in players to come out.
The BO version has long been seen as a pain and the benefits of this skill are mostly for the order side and maybe one or two very specific situations where it’s beneficial to Destro

Mostlikely they feel good when they can punt couple enemies away, thats why they use it... to have fun... and feel good about themselves... so they will keep doing it...
