Hi guys,
Just picked up the game and am feeling a bit lost. I couldn't find any guide on a dps/heal build while leveling.
Anyone know where I could look?
Thanks in advance.

mhm... seems you are correct, they are all outdated. But its quite easy. Left tree for healing, middle tree for dps.
Dont bother with life tap (right tree). You wont deal real damage and your healing is also inferior to standard left tree healing.

In short:

For healing:

Most important tactic is desperation (your get it quite late i think, though)
For leveling good tactics are Discipline, Ishas Encouragement (the HoTs from tactic stack, great with Whispering winds swordmaster), Master of Tranquility and restorative burst.
Spec all skill points in left tree to grab all 3 skills and the wild healing tactic. Bolsting Boon is very situational and usually not worth it (your group will tell you when they want you to spec it).
Until you reach Rank 40 and Renown Rank 50 (or wear a set that gives a bonus point like annihilator, I think), you go up to 15 points for left tree to further buff your healing output. With Rank 40, Renown Rank 50 you can go for best heal-spec:

For dps:
Middle Tree is dps tree. You should spend your first points in this tree to get heal debuff and khaines touch. Afterwards go right tree to take storm of chronos. You wont get Mistress of march until renown rank 70, unless you really gimp your spec, so I would propose going for the silence to have an extra nice CC and also buffing your resistance debuff.
With Renown Rank 70 you can go for this spec:

https://builder.returnofreckoning.com/c ... ,3453,3434

The only real miss is the silence, but mistress of march is far superior.

For Renown Points you want heal crit/damage crit, futile strikes and deft defender. the first quick escape is also quite good.
Speccing for main stats (wp, int, ini, toughness...) its not worth it, unless you have some spare points.

For Talismans as healer go armor, if you can afford it. Otherwise Wounds. Toughness not worth it, because you wont get high toughness where its really matter anyway.
For dps go full int. You dont have an int-tactic, so you will struggle to even get near to softcap (1050 for lvl 40).

Question: Is Apothesis not a important tactic? I’m just playing around in tier 1 atm getting a feel for the class but Aoe-cleansing seems pretty useful to me.

it is for a heal spec WP/DoK, but they are more group heal oriented. I'd say if you have the extra points, then invest in it. you may want to set up a second set of tactics to switch between if you don't need it all the time.
