We went to a sc with a pretty solid group vs 6 archmages and couldnt do absolutely anything. They were just tearing us appart. Ofc this is not the only thing that proves archmages are unbalanced. It is every day playing the game that proves it.

I don't ask of them to be tuned down, i just wan't a mature explanation from a GM why arch-mages are that strong and untunned in this server.

Post a sc scoreboard. Come with some data or nobody can help you.

in addition GM have nothing to explain, it isn't theit job. you should ask to Devs.

P.S. in my everyday playing i haven't any issues with AM, so...

Nope, they are not. They are great in solo roaming which is nearly non existent in current state of game.

Good in solo, not great in much else.

how many tanks used HTL ? how often did your healer cleanse ? What was your setup ?
honestly if you lose with a 6 man grp to 6 AMs they just played way better than you (T1 may be the exeption)

I dunno how they perform as DPSers in T4.

But they are quite busted from Tier 1 to Tier 3.
One might say "yeah who cares it's not t4". But that's quite the welcome for new players.

As has been said, at lower levels these are probably OP.

At higher levels, standard 6-mans might struggle against a 6-man AM group since you need ganking classes to take them down. It's the kiting ability of these classes that are killers. A 6-man shammie group is slightly easier if you have a decent number of WLs and probably WHs. Destro would need maras, mSH and WEs.

A side grumble is that I am not sure why WP got nerfed (Sigmar Radiance needing shield) when you have dps classes like these, which can have decent damage, self-heal and kiting capabilities.

The same result would have happened with any other stack of dd classes and proper assist.

Still no point to discuss this any further, as OP didn't provide any data.
