How to become a turtle tank as SM?

I found that Sm is the weakest tank in both 2 sides 6tanks.
The only way for being a turtle tank for sm is bubbles build.

However, absorb skills will not deduct the dmg based on ur armor, resist, toughness and etc.
So that it can not maximize the utility of bubble as u have huge amount of armor and toughness.

Does anyone have an ideal for Sm being a turtle as kobts or even other tanks?

If someone say SM is weak tank he prolly run 2h with FO slotted...

I am full time deftard tank SM. Can tank as well or better than kotbs.

Get full conq. Sc weapon/shield. Slot wounds / toughness talismans. 3 part everlast/2 part undying gen (aim for the ones with parry, block % and toughness /wounds ones). Rr in deft def, def, parry, futile (if need). I will post spec / rotation when on pc not mobile...
SM 82 / IB 82 / KOTBS 82 / WL 82 / WP 72 / SW 75
CH 77 / BG 6X / BO 6X / WE 6X / MAG 6X ...and others.

I have some questions.

1. Slot wounds / toughness talismans (Do you prefer armor/toughness talismans?)

2. If use everlast and undying ( The resist will be very low if we dont use The Wind Impervious set. Sorc and Magu will did tons of dmg on us if we dont have any resist buff, right?)

3. How about your tactics?

Thanks a lot, because i usually die if i stay on the front line in ORVR.

SNB SM will not be as resilient as a SNB KOBS or SNB IB (most of the time), but the bubbles do have their uses in certain situations.

Would advise toughness/armor talis if doing smaller scale fighting, or wounds/armor for larger scale (counter morale dumps, armor vs choppa/mara/msh setups that are very prominent right now).

you lack the regen that the build used to have and i haven't personally played it since the changes, but def SM was always extremely tanky in small scale whilst pretty fragile (compared to ib/kotbs)in large scale. i think this is down to your melee procs but it could just be my own skewed perception

i can still see it, i don't think the changes killed the build just made it way less interesting. like pan said go tough and you'll have a good time in small scale if you've a fetish for turtling flags and being a perfect guard and such. it really isn't great large scale though, i'd respec into some way more useful for my wb

1st defence is avoidance.
2nd defence is mitigation.
3rd is wound.
4th is help from others.
it's just my priority.
for mitigation i prefer toughness. armor next.
bubble is tiny addition.

On my SM 46RR Ruin i feel way stronger than on my KotBS 78RR Conq...

Avoidance levels on Perfect Balance with HTL up are simply sick...

Not to mention that with 2H WoDS u can reach 100% easy...
