all the changes are synergy each other for tanking. grp defender.
raking talon is good for melee train blob.
if you know how to use challenge.
HB is 940 armor in WW build.
guarantee with AoE in front line.
It might need multiple effects like NB,
armor + 3resist.
VT turn your grp into CC immune shock troops.
short time, hard to use. it's up to players make it viable.
PB... VT vaul also gives 940 armor. additional wound is synergy with +940 armor.
even 1 dimentional ED build improved with KD.
1khaine 1vaul 1hoeth 3SM, anyone interesting?

Re: [SM] New changes in patch (19th aug)
guys is your HB working as intended? I don't think the HB blade enchant works for the group, so far it only applies to the SM. I tried NB and PB it works fine and I could see the effect on my group ( I am using buffhead add on so it's easy to spot), with HB it seems that it works only to the SM.

Ive really got to compliment the devs here.
After main-lining a SM for years on live, lack of group synergy was my biggest gripe. Especially after the huge hit to dps SMs took after beta live and slowly over the years.
Perhaps one day Ill return to this class, but for now, Ill stay on the other tanks.

Re: [SM] New changes in patch (19th aug)
SnB warband SM here. Does anyone have an educated opinion on the morale drain?
I have one reliable source who doesn't rate dissipation very highly so I am not currently running it, but the argument is that it only delays a morale drop. Frankly I think stopping morale gain completely would be insanely overpowered and a delay would counter destruction morale pump tactics.
My question is what are the actual numbers involved with morale gain or drain? Can we assess numerically how powerful the morale drain is? How impactful will it be against a warbands morale gain?

Re: [SM] New changes in patch (19th aug)
Base rate is 36/s.
If the scales are currently active....ive lost track they get turned on and off so often..... Then you need 72 enemies to get tooltip value of 225 morale drain.
Youve got a 25% chance to proc. If you only use woh to proc, that's 40% of your rotation (assuming every improve stance use and use of the stance shifter)
So every 5 GCDs (7.5s) you have two 25% chances to remove 6.25s og morale generation per target hit.
You decide if that's worth it to you or not.

Re: [SM] New changes in patch (19th aug)
I was informed that morale drains are not on the morale scaler (tested). I have no idea how much that affects the tool tip amount.
Is there a post anywhere that explains the mechanism of the scaler?

If its currently not on the scaler; then the tooltip value is the tooltip value.
