Maximizing SM damage output

Saw someone ask for a tanking build, now I am looking for a killing build. Got a bit tired of being my friend's guard/punt bot and want to do some damage with SM lately. I know there are better classes like WL, I've been pushing it to rr69, but WL just not my kind of play so I turn back to my main(and because my damn dps friends keep asking for guard :( ).

My main goal is to find an SM build that kills fast and moves fast to avoid adds, and has a good bit of survivability in trio/duo/solo roaming situations, without being a dead weight to the team (or dying too quickly if solo).

My current build is 5sov/2vi/2war and a fort sword, renown on 2crit 3fs and full parry with the rest on str. Mastery is just standard 13-0-9. Tactics is Rugged+GWM+BA+PE

I think wound is a bit low (8.1k) and damage is... feels like it's lacking something even though it already has 3 sets of str, and dying too quickly if solo or got focus. I've been thinking of doing 5sov/4vic for the double wound, but I am not sure if the 5% damage proc from 4vic is actually worth it. How much damage output does it actually increase? Is it worth trading a bonus str from warlord set for it?

What do you guys think?

U can kill fast or last long. Cant have both. And it very dependent if u have sustaine in your group or not. If u wish be max dps its sov build based on crit and you need to choose you go focused offence or not. If you wish to last long its sacrificed crit into regen, wound enchant, healing enchants, regen pieces, saw buble tactic even in some bulds. And again build depends if u go wispering for group. Looks like buff bonus from ring can stack with focused offense. Fortress sword is crap in my opinion for sm i pref draugnir end on def build, or reverence on dps, some sm pref parry prock sword. Something like that. Oh and take notice on calming winds tactic with renown in disurpts, fast switch into 3 and wods can realy ruin burst on any caster.

You can´t have great damage and great survivability sadly. If you want maximize one, you have to gimp other.

With your curent build you are balanced for survivability and damage. If you want to stay that way I would go for 5sov+4vic with fort weapon. You will gain more wounds and +5% damage proc(which gives u more damage than strenght bonus from warlord).

If you want go ba.lls deep in to damage you need three things. Bloodlord weapon, 4vic for 5% proc and swap Ruged for focused offence. That way you maximize your damage outpoot while gimp your survivability greatly.(Bloodlord -5% armor and toughnes, focused offence - 33% armor).
I would also consider swaping potent enchantments for discerning offence if you get parried a lot. Sapping strike literaly replace PE in single target focusing.
