Grudge-born fury or heavyblow spam?

Like the subject.
What is the better choice when it comes to raw dps "grudge-born fury" or just spam heavyblow?

IIRC Spamming Heavy Blow gives you 1 tick until the dot is reset

Using GBF right after it gives you two extra HB ticks + hits from GBF with extra crit + usually lines up your AA with the end of the channel for extra burst to combine with Earthshatter

Feelin too lazy to go test numbers and scaling right now

You should go Heavy Blow -> Buff/Debuff -> Heavy Blow -> Buff/Debuff, then when you want to burst go with Heavy Blow -> Cave in -> Grudgeborn Fury -> Eartshatter+Auto Attack at the end of the channel

I didnt even realize ppl actually bring Grudgeborn Fury. How are yall speccing so high into that tree? Just skipping Oathbound?
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

That rotation works only on paper. In reality it's more like the following:

- start with Binding Grudge for the snare
- spam Heavy Blow until you wear down the target' absorb from one of the million sources
- buff yourself with Inspiring Attack in the process
- once target is stripped of absorbs, Taunt the target, then use Watch and Learn to buff your WS (Ancestor's Fury is not a good option here because both of thee have only 10s duration and use grudge, so you won't have 100 grudge Grudge Born Fury, so you will lose the same % of crit there... so its better to just use Watch and Learn)
- Cave-in knockdown
- if the knockdown landed then 1 Heavy Blow, then Grudge Born Fury

Small tip: if you start to channel Grudge Born Fury you can move a little bit away from the target / into cover if you are being focused as a squishy 2h tank, the channel will still finish. But be aware, some classes like Blackguard will parry your attacks even from behind/knocked down, nfi why, but it happens, so its better to use this skill on non-tank targets.

So you wouldnt put "stone-breaker" or " sever blessing" into that rotation?

Stonbreaker should be 20s long so it should be applied way before you go for burst, same with Inspiring Attack and Stubborn as Stone (potential 50% haste buff)
