[slayer] question for slayer

Is there a different mastery spec for st or should i just run ID spec? isnt rampage plus rune of absorb good together? What spec melt tanks of destro side?

Pure ST is GiantSlayer spec however most agree is inferior to SkavenSlayer builds. Rampage is a great ability to grab and RoA is also great if you plan on running small man / solo. HOWEVER even tho some will say rampage will make you god mode, it wont. Rampage only works vs other mdps and 2H tanks BO's and Chosen mostly can still beat you down.

I played my slayer after 6 months break yesterday... game is in horrible state for slayer.

Whatever spec you take, you do only physical type damage and due to the increased armors on new gear, you do even less damage than before... it's pretty bad.

Marauders hit me for 800-1000/round, while I hit them for 200 / round. BO's hit me for 600-800 Tree Hit Combos, while in exchange I hit them for 150 damage including reckless gamble. I had a one on one vs a choppa, he was hitting me 3x as much damage every single round.

Rampage is kinda useless since even if those tanks can't block you, due to your miserable damage type you hit them for so low that a single healer's hot will negate all your skills.

What the heck happened to this class? Is there any plan to fix this or should we just reroll?

Without some context you complain has not much value!
How much Str and Ws do you run? What is your build? What equip do you use? Were you using armor pots?
If you don't include this informations you will not be taken seriously.

P.S. Slayer do much more damage than Choppa, so...
