Re: [Slayer] solo play?

If you want play dmg dealer, I would suggest try Witch elf. For me it was best solo class overal(didnt played WH much on live). She had great burst and tools to escape from dangerous situations(100% disrubt for 7s, self punt, shadow prowler). Witchbrew spec gives everything You need against all classes. Inc heal debuff against healers, Witchbrew procs to help melt thru tanks and the best thing is she is so sexy :)

If I ever go back to destro I will definitely contintue with my WE.

If You ever consider solo tank, IB is definitely the best one for soloing.

Reading all the comments above he looks viable with a proper group but not for solo, considering the last nerfs.

Everyone suggesting wl, mara, wh

With Rampage Revert will be viable as before, only real change for ST is ID "nerf" , I would suggest a different ability to swap out (1v1) other than that I will continue to solo when I play.
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.

How long for? These changes and change reversals are giving people whiplash.

You need a group built around a slayer or high renown, full talis, bis gear and pots.

It's a fun class but know it's limitations

No it is not back for DW. Still restricted for 2H.

does Hastened Punishment tactic (-25% cooldown on exhaustives attacks) apply to Rampage & Rune of Absorption?
It will be an interesting build to try, also in combo with Honor Restored tactic (25% chance that exhaustive attacks heal you), something like a self-healing build.

Did anyone try that?

My idea was to have a defensive slayer, thanks

To spam exhaustive attacks you need the tactic to stay permanently in red, what isn't exactly defensive.
Rune of Absorption is no exhaustive attack.
You only have 4 tactic slots.
Dying is no option.

yep on choppa, heal on ex attacks simply isn’t meaningfull and 25% reduced cds sux (more so solo)

It is just to random and 25% doesn’t do much when most stuff are 20-30s (1vX)
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7
