Just wondering if Sorc had a single target spec good for quickly deleting targets.
Also, endgame are they just wanted for AoE spec or could I continue to use the single target spec (if any).
Thanks

Re: [Sorc] Single Target Deletion Spec?
For city siege, forts or warband rvr, you should sorc aoe.
For roaming rvr with a group or sc, you should go single target spec.
Dying is no option.

Single target spec is good for SC's and pve (and they're two different specs for that). In most RvR situations you want to go heavily into AOE.
A simple ST spec for SC's would be something like this (the free points can be put into either tree or pick up some other tactics/abilities you want):
RoR.builders - Sorcerer
The key picks are Impending Doom, Vision of Domination and Hand of Ruin. This lets you build a good single target burst rotation that looks like this:
Start with dots like Ice Spikes and Chillwind to cover (since they'll get cleansed first). Then go Word of Pain, Doombolt, Gloomburst, Impending Doom then Hand of Ruin. Due to dot timers, cast time and travel time, the first 4 abilities will deal damage almost at the same time, with Hand of Ruin coming in to deal the last bit of damage if needed. With decent gear against an unguarded target you can delete squishy classes pretty much instantly as long as you get mostly crits (which you should since you're always playing at 100 DM and should have some renown specced into crit).
