How is BG damage in scenarios?

I levelled a BO to 20 but I really like how BG looks so I'm wondering what the differences are between the two tanks. Does BG really fall behind BO when it comes to damage?

BO has bigger burst, but BG is doing ok too. Your damage on the sheets is a minor thing, compared to what your class can bring to the table and how well you can make use of it.

BO and SM deal more damage than other tanks
BG has punt and aoe snare to compensate.

Scenario numbers dont matter much as a tank because your primary purpose is to guard dps, and peel/initiate and buff/debuff. Tanks generally don't scale well with offensive stats like dps do so if you want big numbers dps is the way to go.

If you want big numbers slot Monstrous Ruin and spam Monstrous Rending. Might work assuming your side has sufficient aoe pressure.

And for that matter depending on situation (aoe happy order rdps) Non Shall Pass can pump out some big numbers as well.

Wasn't the problem with BO that he is a rather glascannon as 2h, while Bg has the tons of debuffs, selfbuffs, perma healdebuff, selfheal and so on ?

2h BG do an amazing work on scenarios and if is good geared can be the top dps tank and bring more utility than any other to a fight.
