They probably deleted it. There is an offchance that a mod came in to delete it, but i don't think that's the case.
Sockpuppet accounts of banned players usually. There's a handful of annoyances that just can't help themselves hanging around here. Cry for help, beg for attention, I dunno. Man-baby stuff.

CityKitty wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:21 am You can easily stack 10% reduced incoming armor penatration, and VS the majority of players who do not stack weaponskill, you become very tanky.
Question is if the dmg from bad players is what you really should be worried about.
CityKitty wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:21 amLike I said, you use armor for every class i stated. Every single auto attack is VS armor, as well as the majority of DPS classes. There is a reason armor talismans are so expensive.
Vayra wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:27 am There's a good reason armor talis are so much more expensive than other talismans, and it's not that fragments are harder to get.
Autoattacks benefits from ws. As for price, mix of armor talis being a pain to farm, and players not understanding game mechanics.

Here's some math. Let me know if I made any mistakes.
3300 Armor = 75% damage reduction cap. Anything past that will start neglecting armor pen.

Lets assume a base line of 3000 armor with no tali and 10% ignore armor pen.
vs a white lion with 50% armor pen and he does 2000 base damage to you:
3000 x(1-.5 + .1) = 1800 effective armor, which equals to 40.9% damage reduction, you take 1182 damage

Now lets add 8x 164 armor talisman = 1312
Total armor is now at 4312.
vs the same white lion:
4312 x (1-.5+.1) = 2587 effective armor, which equals to 58.8% damage reduction. You take 824 damage.

That is very significant damage reduction against someone with 50% armor pen. Free free to add all the armor pen skills/effects and your own gear to calculate how much damage reduction you are getting from armor tali.

With WL -1000 armor debuff
No tali = 800 effective armor = 22% damage reduction = 1560 damage taken
Armor tali = 1587 effective armor = 43.65% damage reduction = 1127 damage taken.

Now lets get to the fact that on my dok with 720 toughness/FS4 and gunbad diamond/320 init wls very rarely hit me over 500 after mitigation.

I was only using 2000 base damage as a base point. Feel free to show your own math based on the same baseline.

Armor talis are some of the most pain to farm, when you want the best ones. rng on mobs to spawn, crit to get the right fragment and crit to get the big tali. But demand also plays a role.

Ideally you want to use talis to supplement the gear you use, in order to hit key stat thresholds no matter what you play. Wounds and armor being most prevelent for DoK since you are going to be hanging around meele to mid range and are going to get hit by the meele train and morale bomb eventually.
Yea, true, they are fairly annoying to farm. You rarely get a purple frag, and when you do, and if it crits, I'd honestly rather sell my 164/180 armor frags for big money, and simply use anything with 120+ armor. When you have 4.3k armor, IMO it's really not worth it to spend 5 million gold just to get an extra 500 armor. It would be extremely nice, but not worth it, since a new gear set will eventually come out & you will need to slot that. If ever there was a final gear set, that you know you are going to keep for quite awhile, then sure, other than that, I'll slot a 124 armor talisman in all my gear & be happy.

I just hate that if you go play the DOK, they have better defensive weapons, that the WP doesnt even have access to. Like weapons with toughness, wounds, reduction in being crit. and reduced incoming armor pen.

Yes, but WP has Sigmar’s Shield and an order privilege buff : ‘)

I don’t know about its effectiveness in warbands since I don’t play in them. I mainly play for competitive 6v6 and it is incredibly useful.
