I would like to roll a BW but my brother definitely went destro side so I started to look at the Sorc.

If BW is still an option dont have second thoughts. Just roll a BW. They are much better regarding warband play and almost the same regarding ST builds.

As a BW you will be able to cast fiery blast on the move while having its cast time reduced by 50%. You can literally evaporate whole groups like that.

It is a great imbalance that sorcs dont have a similar tactic to assist shattered shadows cast so if I were you on my baby steps on this server I would roll a BW.

You can just join any pug warband set with 2-2-2 and a tank that can follow you up on guard range and kill destro premade warbands for fun.

Been there witnessed that numerous times.

Moreover VII are recruiting BWs and slayers all the time so it wouldnt be hard for you to find a guild to receive the support you need and eventually kill everything in your path.

You would definitely be happy at least until devs realize how imbalanced that BW build is and do something about it but in my opinion the chance of that happening is around 2% per month.
