[mSH] Is the melee SH a good ganking class?

I want to make a dps alt, where I'll focus on small scale pvp- mostly ganking in the lakes. I'll probably play most of the time with a chosen tank. The obvious choice is probably the WE. However for some reason I keep thinking of the mSH. I think what I like is the high mobility of the class. However do mSH have enough damage to quickly kill a target and disengage after that?

You need pet out for decent preasure. Otherwise you wont kill much.

They are decent at everything tho arent they compared to SW ? Better range spec, better aoe for city play, still decent single target with pet, have pounce. Its not the best but it does everything+have utility+aoe please correct me if I am wrong

Actually I main a healing DOK. What makes it a strong ganker? It has no mobility at all. The dogs gear is also really hard to get. Scenarios farm is terrible. Pve sets are also not easy to get and probably not powerful enough.

melee DoK and melee WP are terrible, i destroy them on my solo roamers.

If you want to solo roam the best classes in order of power are:

1. Def and heal/abs spec WE (very rare, too many newbs go glass cannon). Destroys everything other than healers (dont expect to kill many healers 1v1).
2. DPS AM
3. Def Magus
4. WH
5. DPS Sham
6. Monstros Mara
7. WL (they're **** against any def spec, literally farmed them 1v1 from rr50 to 80 on my magus)

mSH is a god ganking class ! I assure u that u wont regret rolling one
Mobility is key and jumping and targets with KD and GIT EM Burst is alot of fun
Also the sprint is great to catch people
Easy to play and conq is fine to really do some damage
Can 1v1 pretty much anyone apart from high level slayer
But u need the pet which can be annyoing at times but not so bad in small scale
