Has [Squig Herder] Been improved in RoR?
I played the original and although I loved squig herder they really were not that great, I'm wondering if they are actually good now. I loved playing the class but compared to other ranged DPS or the white lion it didnt compare.

Yes melee build has alot of changes, mostly buffs. But be aware it can be tuned down in future.

Rdps herder is still in the bad spot it was from live
Still the worst rdps of the 3 destro options, still need to reach rr70 to get all the tools you need, still only good on small scale
The melee herder tree was significantly revamped and is what most herders are playing these days

Played my rSH recently and it is not in a good spot due to armor values increasing across the spectrum of all classes. It's still ok to roam solo/duo in the lakes and kill steal, but in had a horribly boring fortress experience. I do see a lot of mSH out there, but did not spend time building one.
