Is there a way I can put a PvP-flagged icon on the character frames?

I asked on Discord but no one answered.

I don't think you can do it with Pure. But you can do it with Effigy.

I see. I took a look at Effigy (I'm using the VinyUI) and didn't see a readily apparent way to do so. Could you tell me how, or point me to a guide that does, please?
