The mara damage feels wrong though. Mara used to be a tanky debuffing mdps with lower damage output compared to slayer/wl and others. They have turned him into a high damage mdps on par with slayer/wl and they still could keep their debuffs, tankiness, kd and pull. Doesn't feel right. You can see fights in the video where the targets health go from 50% to 0% almost instantly. And that's without damage procs from sorcs or doks.

Give mara a guard and some heals and they turn into absolute damage monsters.

I agree maras can definetely put out some serious damage while maintaining some tankiness, however personally i dont have problem with these kind of maras they are beatable. Have you met a defensive rend/dot stacking mara? They are impossible to beat as a physical damage dealer if they play it right.

Glass cannon mara is the hardcore mode of the game. Well done.

Try glass cannon slayer,bw,sorc solo and you will learn whats hardcore.

I just listened to the commentary dae. I think its harsh to speak ill of defensive slayer. Lets be honest as a solo what you run into? WE(many times def we), Tanks, DPS healers 8/10 times. All these classes have insane survivability already and just simply outlast slayer (who gets -1k armor roughly after entering yellow,basically being handicapped) and you cant rely always on potions as they have big cooldowns and they are costly for some people.

Slayer should apply more damage in berserk mode + when someone apply armor debuff.
Glass cannon Mara is not tank as you mentioned but still medium armor class so it should be considered. On the other hand when a slayer in bersek mode and got armor debuff, literally hit 0 armor. Damn you are right. Slayer solo roam is Real hardcore.

If i just go against a glass cannon mara as glass cannon slayer they deal about the same damage or a bit less, but they have disarm so im just sitting for 4 second and think if i should detaunt or not because i can almost reach Berzerk to kd. Mara is just more equipped for solo play. They have pull for ranged classes aswell.
