Crashing when entering scenario

Hello,

I'm a returning player wanting to play RoR abit, now i wanted to play a zealot but everytime i enter scenario i crash. once the scenario is over i get teleported back to the starting area and can run around and play.
Anyone know how to fix this or what might be the cause? (Re-installed twice already on sub disk and OS disk since that was suggested as a possible solution on the forum)

a quick addition, it seems to happen in the open world aswell. in both cases i hear a annoying kind of rumbling screech noise before it just quits to desktop

this happened to me on my last reinstall. i didnt read any of the fairly new instructions and had sound issues and crashing on entering any sc. i reinstalled and it was fixed. if it has to go through a huge amount of files and takes hours you missed a step somewhere
