how long for name to be free?

I deleted a level 4 character of mine 2 months ago and tried to change my name to what that was today and it doesn't work.

Once you delete a char, the name is usually immediately avail to you.

No, you have to wait for server restart to clear the database.

Somehow some names of deleted char are not yet available ,if u search em on the armoury you can still see the char is there even if its been deleted for ages and server have been restarted multiple times so you cant take the name

I did this last week and the name was available right away and i used it on another toon so i did not have to wait

Must be something new then. Last time it didn't work and I had to wait a day or so until I could pick the same name.
If it goes faster now, good.
