Character got randomly deleted

Hello,

since the gamemasters I was talking to do not respond via discord I gonna raise the problem here.

Last Monday (4th Nov. 8pm ish server time somewhat close to server reboot) my chosen Sethjc
(rr40/8x fully geared, incl. collected gear from dungeons and pvp) got deleted.
Around that time I was playing with some ppl on an other character.
I read of similar problems where ppl got their characters replaced.

However, in my case the character is completely gone.

So what is going on?! I would like to know what is going to be done about this.
I wont bother touching an mmo where a character gets randomly deleted for no reason.

I've heard of this several times now and it is very worrying. More worrying is the answer from GM/Dev so far that have been relayed to me - 'You deleted it yourself, the log shows it that way'

I really hope those who can are looking into this bug as a matter of urgency

If it's not in the Armory at the top of the page, then it's gone. It's not coming back. We don't have a way to "restore" individual characters. I gave you the information I had available, and I passed along the information you gave me to the dev team. That's about all we have to update here.

Well I guess, database getting backuped from time to time and not only mirrored

Apparently you do have the ability to restore characters but you only do it for streamers
