items lost from C.o.D. mail return - asking help if possbile:S

Hello, sry for ur time if im posting this in wrong section, my problem is i lost 2 lvl 39 purple weapon due to a bug,
I sent the 2 items to someone but we misunderstood each other, he only wanted to buy one of them, so he send back the mail whit cancelling the deal, but i recieved an empty mail, whit no items, no gold. i made a topic on bugtracker for the bug since ain't found related topic for it.
i know game in alpha, and its working from free time of peoples, still its a realy big pain and lost for me, so im just asking if there's a way to get them back?
