You ever mouse your cursor over your career mechanic which explains this? You get big bonuses which has a chance for a penalty in return.
Wait until you turn on Funnel of Power and do Rain of Fire on a Zerg.
Bright Wizard damages himself because his rage is unstable and can inflict damage onto yourself like a firework going off in your hands. =]
Why does the Bright Wizzard gets Damaged by its own explosions?

Yeah, BW and Sorcs are painful to do solo PvE with. Thankfully that's a very, very small part of the game, so go kill some people instead where you have healers to mitigate the drawback of getting +100% crit damage and +35% crit chance

Because there’s no free lunch. But there are other classes too that suffer in certain ways while fighting.Flowson wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 7:05 pm I came accros this Bug / "Feature" recently,
once combustention is building up, it triggers exposion on crit hits on enemys. The Problem: Even as this explosion is caused by my own fire wizzard - it hurts my character directly ?!
The question i have: why is this ? How can the Magci that my Mage create - hurt my self? Why is the bright wizzard not resistant aginst its own effects? This missery almost killed my mage quite often of mobs come in close melee range.
Can this be solved? or is this a feature of this game?

I remember the good old days when the mechanic buffed crit chance to 50%...
