Bignusty wrote: Fri Nov 06, 2020 10:12 am Ouin ouin we lost 2 fort chosen are op ouin ouin destro get massive win in city cause chosen. thx order, but for you its normal to get melee train slayers rampage no brain and absurb dmg BW aoe when destr are nerfed to the ground and dont have equivalent abilities .

The good point is this new tactic just broke the actual meta and its a good thing.

So please stop be kids to cry everytime .
Broke the actual meta ? 4 chosen was already meta as far as I know, if anyone wants to change the meta they should give these broken stuff to underplayed/non-stackable classes not the ones that are already mandatory to warband

People defending this tactic as it is implemented now are scaring me. Either you don't understand how powerful -25% flat crit reduction is without icd or some sort of control over how fast and how much people can be affected by it, or are such destro fanboys that don't understand that balance is crucial to the fun aspect of the game

It's a bit sad to see "we've read your feedback, a rework is in the process"

So mass forum tears are what gets changes, no time implementation to see the actual effects of the tactics and whether it's straight overpowered, can be countered or needs a change.

I think in general players resent any passive ability like this, the Chosen can literally go AFK and they will be having a massive OP debuff on the other side. At least with single target you have to work out who on the other side is a threat and specifically target them, while the other side healers will be trying to cleanse them to keep their damage up, taking a bit of coordination and effort to implement.

I know both KOBS and Chosen have a bunch of passive abilities but people have been talking about how to make them more active and skill based recently rather than just stand there and do nothing to make them effective.

Everyone knows how important anti crit is which is why nearly everyone stacks Futile Strikes, anyone who is defending this tactic is trolling I think. Its basically little different than the Devs saying they are going to give every Destro player free 30 renown points and give nothing to Order in a patch.

That's what an 'Alpha' server is....

Alpha server would be more to test it out properly. As it is now, people reporting it is not even working as stated which makes the intended effect not tested at all.

- Corruptive Power effect changed from "All Path of Corruption abilities now cost 35% fewer action points." to "Any time you receive critical damage, the attacker is cursed and their chance to critically hit is reduced by 25% for 10 seconds."
Maybe mdps will have a chance to not melt to engi/bw/dps am/sw in front of postern or main door waiting for pushing in stage 3 Fort with this, wait and see.
Your healers must be sleeping and tanks not guarding if you melt pre push... any average+ warband should be able to achieve this, if solo healer then he has his work cut out for him if people don't take their own survability into their own hands

This change affects all areas of game, small, large, city, fort... it's beyond a massive nerf to all of order

BIS order geared SOV gains aprox about 10% crit from gear... a fresh newbie chosen in ruin(or worse)... gives you minus 25% crit ... come on guys do you see the difference? If you do the math you know that's a massive nerf to entire order realm and cleansing is meaningless due to it being masked and re applied.
i doubt anyone in full sov with 10-17% with the proc dont have any compareable weapons or gear with other crit stuff. also order can boost way more then just 5% crit for a grp. ini debuffs not even talked about.

mechanic, values and impact are definetly not balanced. it sounds more like a moral 3-4 ^_^

It IS being tested. We are all the subjects....
What you describe is Beta, not Alpha.
