Can we get the same treatment for supply boxes ? Why people in the same warband has to compete with supplies/kills etc. They are already in the group
Destruction: 40-BG / 40-DoK / 40-Chosen / 37-Mara / 37/Sorc / 36-SH / 36-Choppa / 24-Shaman / 16-WE
Order: 40-SW / 40-SM / 40-WP / 40-WL / 39-Kotbs / 38-BW / 33-AM / 22-WH / 16-RP / 12-Slayer

Patch Notes 19/08/2020
Hotfix #1
Spoiler:
- Kill credit is shared with entire warband or group of the player that did top damage.
why not just change it to. IF you are in a group/Warband. That way it only punishes the ones that aren't grouping, which appears to be the intended target anyway? Really making it tough on low-level players (alts or new) to advance. Exp leveling is a grind for most in the firsts place. If this is a truly a step to disperse the zerg, then please bring the other changes quickly.

Well, now it shares in entire WB. But renown has always only been shared within party, so there's always been some competition inside warbands I guess.
Can you tell me what is and isn't shared in a party and in a warband? As a casual player I didn't know there was a difference, always thought everything was shared in the warband.

I would really like to know the team's reasoning behind the changes that were made. The solo change, I get. The group/wb dynamic with xp/renown/kill quests, I don't. What this is going to do is punish a) existing players that want to try out new classes and b) new/returning players discovering this game for the first time/coming back to a game they loved.

Please share the reasoning behind these changes....

Another person thinking there was a change to renown/xp distribution, while it says right there in red text that xp/renown wasn't touched

Should this hotfix be downloading 172K files? Two hours in and I'm at around 40K. This seems like... a lot.

nuadarstark wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 10:53 am You know you **** up on changes when even Wam says it's stupid.

I don't care about the solos, the newbies, the kill quests, etc but introducing a mechanic that make even the WB parties themselves compete with each other is an absurd idea.
Don't know how to say it, but maybe you and wam should read the patch notes again where you can see it clearly states that it is "shared between grp and warband members".
It wasnt like that when patch arrived, it got hotfixed probably because player feedback.
My bad, didnt know that

grease wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 5:20 am this patch has solidified a thought i had, many players who come to this forum either
1. cant read.
2. can read but cant comprehend what they read.
3. are just here to stir up problems.
4. just post random thought after reading a part of the patch notes they seem to not understand.
It's not just these forums but pretty much everywhere. Ppl cant be arsed to read more than headlines which makes them assume things that might not even be discussed in the article. Humanities ability to read and understand what they are reading and making logical conclusions out of that is on a all time low.
All good if you are not a new player. But i can tell you that as a new player in T1 RVR. This patch is horrible. No one wants to join a warband or even a group if they need influence. We were getting stomped all night and everyone was just trying to run supplies solo just to get their influence up for gear. I was in a 3 man group and each supply only gave 33 influence. In a 4 man it was 25. Im guessing a full group it would be only 16 or 17. People would run past you and let you die just so they could get to a supply before anyone else. At low levels it has definitely discouraged us from working together.
