Started playing yesterday so at that point it would have been a few hours. I switched launching from RoRLauncher to RoRUpdater yesterday & that did the trick, but it's back at it today no matter which exe I use to launch.
What happens is this: I launch, it downloads "Manifest" verifies ART files, verifies WORLD files, then begins downloading files. Today it's over 167K, which is down from 172k yesterday so yay, I guess? But if I need those files as an update it's super weird that I could play without them a couple of times yesterday. I'm mystified.
I wouldd copy and paste the entire folder to a new directory. Sounds like you may have it placed in the wrong place also check to make sure you don't have read-only on the folders/files

make sure folder isn't on desktop or under program files etc. make a new sub folder under your root drive. like c:\ROR or something like that
It took some juggling but I got it sorted with lots of help from folks over on the Discord server!

We don't really know exactly what stats bosses had on live. But some bosses and even things like cannons in cities had toughness values like 1400 (after soft cap applied). Which resulted in 1 damage hits for many abilities when toughness mitigation cap was removed.

Yeah, they probably did have stats like that. Which would be mitigated by wards. With full wards damage against bosses was equal or slightly higher than against regular mobs.

Because it's an alpha server and you're all a bunch of willing testers for our wild experiments. Maybe we just want to see how you react when we throw in some spice.

Fair enough. I was curious what the thinking was behind it. I can certainly understand experimentation. Although, as was stated before, I do think it punished newbies and players wanting to try out new classes a bit excessively.

Understandable. Although, I was thinking of 'less profitable' more in terms of xp than gold. Thanks for the replies. It's nice sometimes to get an idea of the thinking behind the changes, instead of just being presented with them and getting a response along the lines of 'This is how it is. Don't like it? Tough s***' (a response I've seen from the powers that be in more than one MMO)

I suppose this is about ch1 quest that gave 4 class-specific trophies for selection on live, but i can't see it anymore in empire

Im lvl5 and did all the quests that popped up in the zone (some are missing, like talking to dwarf in tavern???)

Feedback on weekly scenario. Stone Troll Crossing as well as future ones.

Certainly too late to make a difference, but after 20+ runs, half in a strong discord guild party with strong players and warlord/sov gear, we were lucky to get 5+ wins, ZERO at 500 points win, so I couldn't qualify for last reward. I'm semi-hardcore, casuals have no chance.

Please be careful about the goals set to make sure they are achievable. I have stopped trying to get the final rewards on the Order side the last few weeks and I am not alone. Oppressor drops and rp are really low on losses, not worth the time.

Hm, done it purely as pug as order within 12-14 matches. Prolly your problem is that u go for the kill and ignore the objective.
Imo it was quite ok as tasks and easy enough even for pugging
