I do agree with this, I think this would give both time for defender to get to the keep and would still make suiciding on rams impossible without heavy healer support.

Great changes! Really opens up a lot of new tactical options. Blockades are back, to defend a keep you actually need to be there before it gets attacked (aka you have to plan and prepare and not just react), and now there's more tactical choice in breaking a siege from the outside (forcing the attackers to split and guard all posterns heavily).

All good stuff, excited to see how this impacts ORVR in general.

how about we just test it out and see how it goes? it can easily be adjusted if needed. I would personally like it better if keeps would go to "unsafe" after the outer door drops to 50% or 75%.
50% seems like a good spot, just outer attack leaves no time to react and gather

Is this just the way your saying the game is ending? Order pop already so low we cant even fill our side defending forts and now we are just supposed to afk in keeps until destro attacks because otherwise we can't get in???

I've just parked WP in keep and relogged on alt, gonna log back on siege :cry:

Wtf you guys are on about? Don't you have healers in your group/warband for revive?
Or do you all run solo to keep defense?
Dying is no option.

First siege in. Good patch. Coordinate on defense or loose a zone, simple as that.

I can only say that a defending realm has already the walls , chokes and a 3 minute oil timer as an INSANE advantage. Dwarf keeps in particular, add an equal population with somewhat organized warbands and zones were untakeable unless the defending realm does not show up. You know exactly what I am talking about.
It is not fair to be just able to continuosly suicide jumping the walls with-out major consequences, the mechanic was out of proportion.
With this change now jumping from the walls must be properly coordinated and has the right and fair amout of risk vs reward.
Jumping the ram, a method I personally despite and considered almost an abuse of game mechanics, has now a bitter end. Good riddance.

This keep changes idea has been brough up many times over the years by skilled leaders. We are amazed it has been put in place.

Finally the Patch that stopped free Defenses and respawn inside the keep for no real logic reason.
