Patch Notes 15/04/2020 - Dragon's Bane
Posted: Wed Apr 15, 2020 4:53 pm
Italian Translation
The Dragons Bane scenario will launch this Friday around 12:00 Altdorf time, together with the Bane of Peace Weekend Warfront event.
In this Scenario your team earns points for holding the capture points. Unlike other scenarios where it’s up to your team’s own firepower to dislodge enemies from a capture point, Dragon’s Bane
gives you a little help. If you take a dragon beacon to one of the enemy capture points, you can
call down a dragon to assist you in retaking the capture point
The scenario contains three objectives, the Commorancy, the Academy and the Summoning Tower. Each objective your realm holds will grant 1 point every 2 seconds. Killing enemy realm players grants 3 points.
If the enemy realm holds any objective, a dragon beacon will become available. Pick up this beacon and deliver it to the enemy flag to summon a mighty dragon to help you in the fight for 60 seconds.
[Weekend Warfront: Bane of Peace]
Together with this scenario we will be launching our first Weekend Warfront, which is a small live event focused on one scenario. Doing the event objectives in the scenario will grant you extra rewards.
During the event you will also be granted a +50% bonus to experience and renown inside the scenario.
The event will end at Monday April 20th 12:00 Altdorf time.
[Scenarios]
- A new ranked scenario map is available: The Maw of Madness. The mechanics are the same as in Caledor Woods with a single capture flag in the middle that takes 50s to capture. Kills give 50 points each.
[XRealm Lock]
- The XRealm lock will now only be triggered if you get flagged for RvR.
[Items]
- Set the correct 8pc ability on Warlord sets for DoK and WP
[Abilities]
- Clarified the tooltips for the tactics Divine Fury, Fanaticism & Murderous Intent, to state that they only affect casted heals.
- Fixed an issue that prevented Ritual of Lunacy and Master Rune Of Adamant to critically heal
- Crushing blow will finally work
- BW Wall of fire VFX is implemented
- Adjusted a bunch of projectile speed on ranged abilities. They almost all had a longer flight time than intended. I’ll finish the rest for next patch.
[Cities]
- Altdorf: Exit to refugee camp is now available in southern part of docks.
- Inevitable City: Exit to refugee camp is now available near guild bank.
[World]
- The hill east of Passwatch Castle is now considerably more deadly, and stupid, to climb.
[Quests]
- Cleansing an Empire: This Epic Quest has been fully corrected and reworked
- BO scout quests are available in Nordland, except for one BO.
[Behind the scenes]
- Sorry for the downtime we have had today. We have made some massive behind the scenes changes over the last few months and had to rewrite and modernise some processes. However this should lead to some performanance and stability benifits once it's all stable.
[Tickets]
[16278] The quest objective for killing Mindless Farmers will now correctly register the Mindless Farmers killed
[15441] The T3 Empire Epic Quest is once again completable until the end
