reduce defender win rewards in city.
1. attacker win
2. attacker lose
3. defender win
4. defender lose

pretty good reason to be attacker.
you may worry about xrealm and 1 sided server.
but zergs have risk of not getting instance due to lack of defender.

defend fort then counter push to city.
most benefit.
each side doing this, it's non stop war.
SM8, SW8, AM8, WL7, KoBS5, BW5, WP8, WH7, IB7, Eng5, RP5, SL6

You are in the right direction in order to solve the 'giving zones' issue for cities BUT imhao it will need much more than just 1 royal crest as a reward for a successful defence at Forts. Make it 5 crests, if not more, and you will see some damn epic fights!!

There is already a lot of xRealming going on. Giving away 1 crest by winning a fort is not enough incentive to make people work hard in defending it. Since you need high level renown players to succesfully defend a fort, these high renown players are taking away the chance for another low level player to participate in fortress, a spot is lost since the high level renown player don't need invader medallions, he needs the Royal Crests, so where to get them? inside the city.

There should be other ways to earn Royal Crests, i've posted a Suggestion Topic about it with many other alternatives.

Somehow trade 25 Invader Tokends x 1 Royal Crest...or 100 Opressor scenario token x 1 Royal Crest. Who knows, there are many other options that will incentive players to play other aspects of the game besides waiting for City to happen.

Would you like to increase the time during which we could queue for city siege or introduce an extra 30 minutes at the beginning to prepare? otherwise many simply do not have time to form balanced groups and collect the necessary classes for competitive warband when city sieges happen. thanks.

Like for those who already have multiple pieces, because they had luck, while bags had actual set pieces inside?
Currently it's basically doesn't matter much what bag you get, because its's only a few crests more.
Wondering why they didn't add a timer on bag loot like on live to prevent farming it too fast.
With 2 variants inside it is supposed to take longer than on live anyway, where you could replace your pieces for alternate set at a vendor.
The advantage currently is not about winning, because it's just about some more crests, when you win a stage. What matters is to participate at as much city sieges as possible.
Dying is no option.

Timers are set in the city itself. Granted that the system have some holes to abuse, but in general it works better now without pieces being dropped, IMO. Thing is that some people don't play to have fun, but to rolfstomp other people enjoyment, and you can't avoid them to exploit the lesser possible situation where they have advantage. Not speaking of skill here. This happened in cities and will continuously happen with every content release as long as these kind of person exist: Dev team implement a well thought curve of progression, then have to make huge changes cause people abuse the system to no recognition. Cities weren't meant to be happening on-cooldown, but guilds agreeing to switch sides at specific times turned into this madness where gold bag can't drop pieces.

I think this is way out of topic though.
