Patch notes 22/12/2018

IF YOU PLAN TO RUN DUNGEONS WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU READ RELATED PATCH NOTES AND THAT YOU RUN .lockout COMMAND AFTER YOU ASSEMBLED WHOLE PARTY.

Hotfix Notes

- Fixed a bunch of bugs
- Nordenwatch will return after the event. Black Fire Pass is the current Pug Scenario.

[Live Event - Keg End 2018]

The Dwarf celebration of Keg End approaches in the Warhammer World. At this time, all of the year's ale must be consumed before the New Year arrives or else a terrible bad luck will befall the brewer and his clan. In response, citizens of the Old World rise to the occasion, holding great bouts of drinking. A certain amount of competitive boasting is traditional as well.

Gain Event Influence by completing the live event tasks. Massive Giants lurk in the open Realm versus Realm Battlefields. Caches of beer and potent fireworks are scattered about the battlements as well. Scouting reports that anywhere around the holdings of the Giants these supplies can be found. Enemy players are also bound to have special loot on them, so get killing!

Amazingly - rumours of the legendary golden Stein appearing have surfaced. Scour any active Realm versus Realm Battlefields across the Old World to seek out and obtain it. All those who bask in its foamy radiance will be greatly rewarded. And for the exceptionally lucky, participating in any of these tasks may yield the elusive Battle Brew Backpack or Regenerating Fireworks Launcher.

[General]

- Dot damage now has a chance to dismount players but at a reduced value compared to direct damage abilities.
- Pets will now disengage from their target if said target would go into stealth.
- Toughness mitigation will now be capped at 75% damage. If this was not the case then someone could easily be almost immune to damage with just stacking one stat. Remember that Resistances or Armor is also applied after the toughness.

[Abilities]

- Redid the buff handling code.
- Potions and other effects that persist through logouts should now be sent on login so you should no longer need to target yourself.
- Auras should now be their intended size and not 10 feet less.

[Warrior Priest and Disciple of Khaine]

- Divine Warden and Blood Guard will now convey their self buff on the player even if the attack is defended.
- Divine Strike and Consume Essence now do Spiritual damage.

[Witch Hunter and Witch Elves]

- Shroud of Magnus and Elixir of the Cauldron will now reduce the damage of any magical ranged dots currently on the player to zero for the duration of the buff.

[Shadow Warrior - Path of Assault]

- New Ability Crosscut replaces Sweeping Slash at 9 points in path of Assault, this is a single target attack which places a debuff on the enemy which causes them to have a 10% more chance to be critically hit.
- Sweeping Slash is now core, cooldown increased to 20s, attainable at lvl 26.
- Wrist Slash will apply its effect 100% of the time upon a successful hit from Grim Slash. Debuff effect no longer stacks with other abilities.
- Merciless Soldier now has correct Tooltip.
- Assault Stance now has correct and full Tooltips.

[White Lion]

- Speed training should now properly work.
- Pack Hunting should no longer stay around when switching to another "Trained to" stance and will no longer go on the pet as well as the player.

[Careers]

[AM / Shaman]

- Mechanic will no longer hit 0 in combat but switch to 1 of the other type.
- Removed Healstat switching to offensive using mechanic and vice versa. Mechanic already provides large enough benefit with 40% cast time reduction, 40% ap reduction and instant cast ability amplification (+25% damage/healing bonus).

[Dungeons]

- Lockout system has changed. Previously lockout on particular NPC prevented you from entering an instance with different ID than yours if you were not a leader, now you are able to enter different instance and help defeat the boss, but you will be automagically excluded from the loot roll. Also, if there are 3 or more people in your party with lockout on the particular boss nobody in party will be eligible for the loot roll.
- .lockout command was changed and expanded - it will now print in the chat all your current lockouts and all lockouts of your party members. In case of 3 people or more in your party with lockout for particular boss you will be informed that your party is not eligible for loot roll.
- Issue of people with one lockout not able to enter an instance should be resolved by above changes.
- Sentinel gear set should now be in final form (barring any terrible errors). Please remember you can find a 'Kill this boss 4 times for his piece of gear' quest in your capital!
- Sentinel Jewel piece is now obtainable after filling up influence bar for City Dungeons Legendary Locale. This accessory piece is only able to have Legendary Talismans slotted into them.
- New weekly quest added with requirement of killing each boss once. Find Ashkarn, Stalwart of Change for destruction and Roland Kriegsworn for order.
- Vendors for the Sentinel weekly quest reward added, find Kris'la the Warpsmith for Destruction and Tim the Imbuer for order. Legendary Talismans bought from them last one week. Legendary Talismans can only be slotted into special items (in this case - Sentinel Jewel piece).

[Items]

- Sentinel Armor reworked entirely.
- Strikethrough effects added to WP/Dok shields, values dependant on rarity.

[PvE]

- 15 to 45 seconds later after killing an NPC other party members are able to loot the NPC. This should solve the issue of being unable to loot reward after the player who killed NPC crashed.

[RvR]

- Added command .bag that will print in chat current bag bonus for all 5 type of bags. Chances for special bags remains a secret!

[NPCs]

- After the recent opening of the Bloodwrought Enclave, Rotlung and his gang searched for a new place to settle and found it on the ranks of the arena.
- Goaf Birdsong has departed and flown away.

[Quests]

- Arcane Teachings: Whole quest line is now available and reworked
- Tokens of Allegiance: Quest line has been corrected and reworked
- And Thus With Traitors: Quest line has been corrected and reworked
- An Object of Power: Whole quest line has been corrected and reworked

[World]

- Disabled GOs of Bawon Samndi event once and for all

[Tickets]

- [12804] Corrected and moved markers
- [12759] All quest markers have been set
- [12760] All quest markers have been set
- [12761] All quest markers have been set
- [12762] Quest markers have been corrected
- [12769] Quest has been corrected
- [12763] All quest markers have been set
- [12765] All quest markers have been set
- [12883] GO is no longer attackable and triggers once again its unlock
- [12764] All quest markers have been set

I have a question about the thoughness change: what does it mean?

If I have 600 thoughness and the tooltip says it reduces damage by -121 dps does that mean that only 75% of those 121 dps get reduced?
Or is 121 already the reduced amount and it indeed reduces now 121 dps?

is this an exception to the rules ofstacking or did you changed the debuff fomr a "tactic" debuff to a "skill" debuff ?

Really more PvE needed to have an edge in PvP ? you make it harder everytime for the casual gamer ..... this one i dont like !

Before todays change with enough toughness you could literally take only 1 damage from everyone just by stacking toughness. What it means is that the calculations are exactly the same as before but it now caps out at mitigating 75% of the incoming damage before handing over to armor or resistances.

May I have questions:
1) Where are those new NPC for -dungeon-sentinel week quest located?

2) Sentinel gear bonuses for tanks - 5th bonus - this immunity for root and snare I find really useless in PvE, where this gear should be used and is farmed for. Why such a change? To make it more PvE RvR mix? Conq seems still better.

why nerf tank def ?

you upp Black guard off ( but not ib), BO off ( but not SM) , and nerf tank def do you whant to see only one spec ( tank off) ? can you develop your development strategy for tanks plz for ppl like me who dont undertand your good raison ?
