To be ever more specific, my stated intention was to make the Slayer 2h spec more effective ST than the AoE spec, and the inverse with respect to AoE. Changing Rampage doesn't accomplish that.

I intend to tweak Precarious Assault and Reckless Blow further to cover the use case of Spellbreaker, then reform Spellbreaker into a proper 13 pointer instead of a damage spam and potentially adjust Violent Impacts, Spine Breaker and their mirrors.

Assuming this is now the formula that's being used (and that I understand it correctly), I've used the stats from my Sorc and Zealot to get an idea of disrupt values against healers now. Both classes are rr70+ in what I believe to be BiS gear.

Sorc: 1017 Intelligence, 7% strikethrough from gear (4% from Conq, 3% from 3pc Genesis).
Zealot: 845 Willpower (Discipline tactic + Ini/Wp buff [+50]), 3% disrupt from gear (2% from Conq, 1% from Genesis Fragment) and full Deft Defender (+14%).

(((845 / 1017) * 0.075) * 100) + 17 - 7 = 16.23156342%

When Deft Defender is back to offering 19% instead of 14%, it will be 21.23%. Reactionary proc on Conq offers a further 10%.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I never found disrupt rates to be particularly egregious against any class other than healers. I have nothing of substance to support this, only a "feeling", but I always felt that an acceptable disrupt rate against a healer would be somewhere in the region of 20-25% (assuming approximately equal level and gear) inclusive of Deft Defender but before any procs and/or additional buffs (Hold the line, IB/BG willpower buffs, Warrior Priest's tactic, etc). The change certainly puts the disrupt values right around there but I'm conscious of it coming at the cost of casters now over performing against all non healers.

The swing from introducing True Strike to removing it AND reverting defense calculations in such a small time frame feels rushed and disoriented but maybe there is just a lot happening behind the scenes that i don't see.

Sad to see True Strike go - i liked the addition- i always found the defensive renown abilities overperforming which lead to less variety.

Worried about your 2h-Slayer rework. I try to relax.

Thank Grimnir on the the Rampage reversion patch. AoE spec nerf was not the way to make 2h spec better. Looking forward to seeing what that tree gets.

Flames of Rhuin is still not procing from dot ticks. Also wildfire tactic is not procing with spreading flames.

Spreading flames on ror was never proccing anything. It is a dot that doesn't have a direct damage component in it.

Though the only reason to pick up spreading flames, would be if it procced wildfire, otherwise it's a completely useless skill of not gcd worth.

Now FoR should proc from dot ticks, including spreading flames
