Sry to be a **** (or an idiot) but does this mean you can just wander out and leave a fortress after 5 min and still get the RR + 4 tokens?

They are balanced.
So WLs 2shoting everything from 65ft is not a problem anymore?
DoK RR80+, Chosen RR80+, Choppa RR70+, SH RR75+ WP RR65+

wargrimnir wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:36 pm Things are pretty balanced, not denying there's a few issues. Take a wider view and things aren't so bad. One realm isn't stomping the other solely due to balance issues. Every class is viable in at least one spec, and usually two or all three.

If the extremely obvious balance issue with WL was so apparent, the last balance thread regarding them wouldn't have a dozen+ pages of people asking for different things.

Some smaller fixes are being done at the moment, we will resume more in-depth balance changes in the future.
One realm is stomping the other at anything under Zerg level, like 12v12 or 6v6.

Its interesting how the difference in playerbase/playstyle has changed how balance is viewed. On live WL were pretty average and mostly seen as a gank class. Whereas Slayer was king on live. So I dont think theres really a balance problem or it would have been there on live too. Its just players playing differently.

Live didn’t have the master of disaster torq **** up balance so hard the ramifications are still felt to this day

Also many peoples of perception of live balance is skewed from rr100 sets and broken stuff that was never fixed to the extent that it was no longer a bug but a feature

Remember how in the early days of ror balance discussions everyone though that BO and SM was were dumpster tier cause that’s how they were on live?

Take away the broken sets, fix the bugs and wow both SM and BO are viable second tank options

Well SM is, BO took a real hit to SnB spec after Torque made THC 2H only

personal opinions can be vary.
I'll play current version of RoR over any lives of AoR.
also i prefer torq style than aza.
late version of aza balance seem questionable, sm 2h kd, another stealther escape, sw thing(reverted).
and he brought back zerg morale bomb.

it's just unfinished business, thx to forum warriors witch hunting.
remember how aza was blamed for balance b4 torq?
anyway both talented devs, too bad all gone. I miss his haha no meme.

so stop spreading personal opinion on patchnote like it's something and go to balance forum.
contribute tiny bit compare to volunteering devs.
