I played many solo event sc with dps. I had almost always insta pop all the time all weekend eu time. (Fri 2pm to 12pm, sat san 8am to 12pm) i went lock siege rvr too)
I have to tell you iam an old human, i oayed a lot of different game over the decades but i think/feel this matchmaking is the best.
Its always feel fair. Its always balanced based on classes.
We/i losed some but it was our/my fault.
We always had a chance to kill.
Of cource sometimes someone afk or leave or assist cannot happen. But everytime i felt we had chance. It was fantastic. Also this 6v6 format it was like the solo ranked. Very funny with punting, ranged had chance too. (Sometimes i disn die after they punted me, usually i did idk whats coz the difference.
Best weekend event sc with this matchmaking.

Here is my feedback
Ive played only healer on t4 destro side. This weekend played exclusively EC like 70 or so times. Normally i hate that map cos old system was facing premades vs randomly selected archetypes. This time was different.
The good:
New matchmaking system do wonders when solo queu. Matches were mostly equal there were quite good fights. Most setups were 1/3/2 witch prevented stalemates. When the system put 2/2/2 games were much slower but still good quality.
Wait time for solo healer was quite low so no problem here. Although i chain queuing i rarely got same 5 man from last game, one-two sometimes but never same guys which imo is a good feature.
The bad:
Sometimes the system started matches with uneven numbers like 4v5 which on 6v6 map is quite harsh, esp when ppl go tru the portal and didnt wait for fill up and scen ended poorly.
When you end as a fill up at the heavily one sided game wasnt good feeling no matter which side.
About the 7v6 comeback mechanic i dont know what to think. It was abit bizarre to have one guy out of the group but once he really did the difference and we won but it felt abit unfair. The fight wasnt so one sided prior to his entrance.
The ugly:
Didnt try to queu as premade but ive heard no games were starting so all lf healer/tank/dps spam at /5 channel was gone. That imo is bad cos these random scen groups do great for socialising like minded ppl, many friendships and guilds started like that so punishing premades is no good
Lastly i will comment the EC map itself, imo there are several problems with the map.
Starting points for the both realms are quite unfair. No idea why destro start from middle but orders on right side. That give unfair advantage to destro from the start. Destro should start from left, orders from right both move and fight at middle like it was on live. Why that it is changed here is beyond me.
Punter and punted swap place mechanic is quite weird many ppl didnt know about it and were quite confusing. Imo that serves noone good and should be altered or removed. We had a situation were our tanks punted enemy tand and dps at same time and got place swapped and died. That was totally random and uncalled. Somehow swap chance looked quite high
At EC we got 3 portals that are usable mid fight and if u just want to leave while being killed you can just go to the portal and press yes to get teleported out. It felt as dirty move that could be exploit by ppl that are too scary to die

Is it possible just not enough premade with the same setup on both side?
Because in the past i didnt saw too many groupranked either.
Maybe there should be dedicated premade group(6) vs premade group(6) mode and we can see how many premade praty actually.

Atm the content is just broken and will cause a big damage to the game if this wont get fixed.
We had a 2-2-2 group on destro side. All 3 weekend days, i didnt have a single pop in group.
I was not able to participate on the SC event at all, just because i qued with a 6man...
Imagine to get zero pops the whole weekend - for a 6man SC - as a 6man group...
This is ridiculous, but lets wait for the solos to proclaim how great everything is.

I que solo almost 100% of the time and do get very few pops and happens with heal,dps and tank characters. Maybe there is some bug there but "should" be more sc pops.

After longer time after insertion of new system i have some observation.
Probably many of those observation and conclusions were already written above.
I try to que with solo to six man. Quing solo makes highest chance of geting que with small time. As a filler into ongoing match or as a participant in new. Avarage waiting time is quite low corelate with numbers of matches ongoing. (Almorst instant pops)
Duo similar expierience to solo, just longer que time depend on class setup.
Playing everything biger then duo lenghtens the waiting for scanario drasticly. There is less trios that que to fill multiple scenarios. Its even worst for 4-6 man if there is two teams on one side and one on other (almost instant pops)
Trio 1/1/1- solid gaming experience. Relatively small waiting time. Trio cant snowball scenario like six man does ,so it even effort on both side. In small 6 mas scs and in bigger 3 partys scenarios.(up to 10min- moste of time time requires to resolve ongoing scenarios and match player into next pool)
Everything bigger than trio is roll of a dice. Sometimes it's 3-4h waiting for pop because there is no enough teams on both side to start scenario.
4-5 was almost no pop- no idea why, maybe just bad luck on my side. There should be good chance to fill one player into 6 man- dont know.(20-30min and longer-corelated with amount of teams on oposit side)
6man- long waiting time, but gaming experience was best possible when losing and winig. Always fighting agains another 6 man or 2x6vs 2x6 man. Best time spent in scenario since i start this game.(can be instant pop, or waiting for eternity- that moste of time is)
Proposition- numbers of teams quing on both side. It will show players that ther is 6man on one side and zero six man on other. Players will not wait for scenario for eternity without knowlage that there is no enaugh team in sertain number on other side.
New matchmaking implementation corelated with scenario rotation. If i remember corectly new system ware implemented when current scenario was multiple participants(reikland hills 3 partys-> rekland factory/mourkain hills 2 partys-> eternal citadel 1party[helps new players that scenarios fights should be reset after first lose- lets all wait for each members team to release and try again together once more as a team])
One party scenarios can start with one tank/healer that is big playstyle requirement for new players on that archetypes.
It helps test effectivnes of new matchmaker and helps playerbase absorb change bound with longer time que for everything biger then trio. Suggestion players that smaller team will makes scenario waiting time shorter and at the same prevent sixmens from snowbaling scenarios because one good team derail scenario very fast. So if 6man try to que - they will wait for eternity.
Side effects. Probably players who play scenarios will create rennesaince of roam. Solo-trio, quatro.20-30 min waiting time for scenario is best time to roam around.
And change that player will get ported into scenario even if in combat after he click "give me a minute" 100% win. RvR fights will not got hurt after someone got ported into Scenario and clarify players intentions.
Players who wait for scenario and roam in less poppulated zones looking for smallscale/solo fights.
